state-directorSoror Gwenneth Corujo has been a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. since 1989 where she was initiated into the Chi Epsilon Chapter at the University of Georgia. She is an active member of Eta Pi Zeta Chapter in Silver Spring, Maryland. Soror Corujo has held several positions on the local level such as Undergraduate Advisor, 3rd Anti-Baslieus, and 1st Anti-Basileus. Her most recent position was Basileus of the Eta Pi Zeta Chapter, where she held the position for over 4 years.  She has also held several positions in the State of Maryland. Her most recent position was Chair of the Undergraduate Council.

Soror Corujo received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland.

Professionally, Soror Corujo is employed as a Supervisor at the District of Columbia Pretrial Services Agency. DC Pretrial Services is an agency that assesses, supervises and provides services for defendants, and collaborates with the justice community to assist the courts in making pretrial release decisions. She started at DC Pretrial Services in 1994 where she worked in several departments. She is also a member on the Federal Women’s Program Committee. This committee promotes the professional advancement of women in the federal workplace.
